Jane Good, MA, MFT

Since 1995, I have worked as a licensed therapist in Eureka, CA. In that time, I have worked with a broad variety of amazing, resourceful and courageous people, and I hope to continue work in this field for many more years.

When I was a teen I wanted to be a psychiatrist. Although that didn't work out due to life's little quirks, and despite a lot of curves in the road, I have at last found myself in the work I was always meant to do.

My education as a therapist began in 1972 at Cabrillo College, and then U.C. Santa Cruz until 1976. I worked at a wide variety of jobs for several years, and then moved to Humboldt County and returned to school to finish my B.A at Humboldt State University. Immediately, I fell in love with the area and the people. I entered the Masters Program in Counseling Psychology in 1986, and received my M.A. in 1989. I then worked at Catholic Charities with John Gai as my supervisor, at Humboldt Family Service Center and in private practice, until I was licensed in 1995.

I specialize in anxiety disorders, relationship issues, and trauma recovery.
